Grand opening by Austria's Federal Minister of the Interior

13th state-of-the-art indoor shooting range for the Austrian police

With a grand opening on 9 September 2025 by Austria's Federal Minister of the Interior, Gerhard Karner, the 13th state-of-the-art indoor shooting range with digital target display for the Austrian police was officially put into operation.

The new facility offers state-of-the-art technology and realistic training conditions, enabling officers to practise and perfect their operational behaviour in a variety of scenarios. The digital target display allows a wide range of situations to be simulated – from everyday situations to complex danger scenarios.

The opening of this shooting range marks another important step towards ensuring the highest level of training and further education for the Austrian police force.
